Well, this incident happened a month ago. I was new to college and new to the city as well. What shall I say about the city? It was the perfect getaway for lost explorers as it perfectly brought to life the medieval period. Everything had its own uniqueness. Right from the cabs to the hand pulled rickshaws; this city was the perfect blend of rural and urban culture.
I being an aspiring travel blogger, never abandoned any opportunity to explore and try new things. My sister often accompanied me on the delicious adventures. Our list was endless, and we never missed out on experimenting with food. We tried everything, right from the exclusive food, hangouts to the roadside food joints. I had always dreamt of this lifestyle and now I was living my dreams.
Lately, a delicious and a spicy intruder found its way in our lives. It is very popular and common, we call it Puchka. Well, just thinking about puchkas makes me feel like having one. These tiny little crispy balls of flour with mashed potatoes in between are a super snack invented by the Desi food mongers. Suddenly visiting the “puchka wale bhaiya” became mandatory, as every evening I felt an urge to gulp down these awesome explosions of tanginess.
Life was great until this habit of mine left me with sebum swelling out all over my face. Suddenly, I felt an obstruction in my carefree life. I was completely frightened and couldn’t stand my horrid looks. My Di could sense the despair hidden inside me and comforted me with a magical tube. She asked me to use it and told me to wait and watch the magic. I believed her and knew that if she had chosen it for me, then it must be the perfect pimple remedy I needed. Within a few days, my pimples disappeared and I changed back into the older and prettier version of me.
My Di is certainly a blessing to my life. She is the most reliable person in the world when it comes to troubleshooting. I love her and that magical tube- Acnestar for making my wish come true.
