Representing their college in the Intra University competition is every student’s dream. I was fortunate that I got this opportunity last month to represent our college in the Ms. Fresher competition of the university as I was the Ms. Fresher of our college.
I was on cloud nine when I got this news. The seniors told me that almost all the colleges of the university will participate and there would be a huge media attention over this annual competition. They also told me a few names of the former winners, who, after winning the competition went for the professional modeling and later became famous models. So, they suggested me to work hard for this.
Just a few days before the competition, one of our alumni visited our college. She was the former winner of this Intra University competition. Somehow, I managed to show her my preparations. She was really impressed with it, but the feedback she gave came was a blow to my preparations. She said “Soniya, it is really good that you are preparing so passionately but you are only focusing on just these four rounds. You are not aware what else judges would take note of except your performance in these four rounds.” She added, “They will closely examine the glow of your face and skin.”
She took me in front of a mirror and continued “Look at your acne darling; they will never let you win the competition and even with a single pimple you won’t stand in the top ten finalists”. I listened to her and realized that while focusing on these rounds I forgot to pay attention to my oily skin I became sad, but she sensed my depression quickly and motivated me by saying that the same problem troubled her a lot once. She suggested me to use Acnestar gel and Acnestar soap to get rid of acne.
I started using Acnestar and to be very true, it did wonders. Finally, the big day came and I performed in the competition. Now, I was actually feeling confident of my glowing and acne free, flawless skin. I not only won the second prize, but I also won the title of ‘Beauty with Glow’. Soon after the competition one magazine offered me the place of cover girl in their next month’s edition.
Today, I am writing this blog to thank everyone who helped me during my preparations and specially Acnestar which helped me indirectly, but hugely.
